It's That Time Of The Year Again

We have had snow, then cold, then some rain, and it got cold again, then we had some really heavy rain and wind storms and the snow is mostly gone again. A week ago it was temps in the single numbers and now they are right around 50. I'm not going to complain a bit about that, it felt good going out without having to put layers of clothes on the keep warm.
Now, it's getting close the that BIG holiday we wait all year for so, Merry Christmas to all of you and a Happy New Year from our house to your house.

Merry Christmas right back at ya. It's going to be a brown Christmas here, after snow in Sept and Oct. Temp should be about 25F on the holiday day.

A Merry Christmas to you. Our weather has been gyrating between the dreary palls of winter and the last gasps of late Autumn here in Iowa as well. Our snow has been melted away except where protected from the low inclining rays of the sun. I have finished up the outside chores with a few holiday lights for a seasonal touch.

It's a brown Christmas here too. I'm not complaining about that at all. We've had a cople of snowstorms and I really hope those are all we get. Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Merry Christmas to you. Our snow has mostly disappeared except some spots the sun doesn't hit. Our last storm was all rain so that did a good job of melting most of it. The youngsters here put up the Christmas tree quite a while ago and it really brightens the place up. We moved out of the city into the country so it is nice and peaceful. Enjoy your holidays.

A MAJOR Gulf Stream storm is hitting us tonight with the snow just 50 miles North of us. It is raining here now but we could have such a mess if the temp drops even a little bit.
